How to Protect Against Cybersecurity Threats
Jack Schniepp • December 2, 2019

On the Cyber Monday I thought it would be appropriate to share information from a recent event that we hosted to help our clients learn how to protect their personal information from various cyber security related attacks. The expertise provided in the presentation came from local FBI agents who generously volunteered their time to educate and enlighten us about the ever-changing threats that most of us are exposed to. A BIG Thank you to our local agents!

An important takeaway from the event was that awareness of the potential threats leading to preparation are key to avoiding exposure to various schemes. Cyber security crimes are scary and we can often feel helpless in protecting against them. But the good news is, there are steps that can be implemented to significantly reduce our chances of becoming victims. We learned that the majority of crimes can be prevented if proper vigilance is applied.
